We had a great time in Houston over Memorial day weekend.

We got a pool for Akash in the back yard, which he loved splashing around in.

We were all home for the best garage sale ever. Akash had a wonderful time hanging with all his aunts and uncles, and with Grandmom and G-dad.

Happy Mother's Day!

We had a great mother's day! Grandmom, G-dad, Aunt Emily and Mr. Geoff were on hand to celebrate. We went out for a delecious brunch, hit up the park, and played at home. It was a great day!

Outside Fun

We were cleaning the sand off from Akash's hands and feet, and he decided he wanted to get totally wet. He had the best time. I had to censor a bunch of the photos due to the public nature of the blog, but he was so happy being sprayed by the hose!

Akash picks out a book

Akash has become obsessed with books. He runs over to the bookcase and picks out a book, and then runs back to Mom holding it, beaming with excitement. The book must be read at his pace, skipping some pages, and looking at others forever. He is currently obsessed with Goodnight Gorilla, Peek a Who? Dogs, Tails, and a whole bunch more.

Walking in the rain

Akash LOVES going for walks. It has been raining for 6 days straight. Akash does not care; he insists on going for his walks. He has to check out all the trees, dogs and plants.
